Tree Surgery Services:
Crown Reductions
Do your trees block out too much light? Then a crown reduction could be the answer, reducing the overall size of a trees ‘crown’ by up to a third. This will let in a great deal more light and not have an adverse affect on the health of your tree.
Crown Thinning
Is your tree too dense? Do you want more light to come through? Do you want to see the structure of the tree? Then crown thinning might be the answer. Removing some of the internal branches will thin the overall look of the trees crown, allowing light, and a better view of the internal scaffolds of the tree.
Crown Raising
Do the limbs of your tree hang down too low? Are they stopping light getting to shrubs below? Blocking a good view from the home windows? A crown raise is removing some of the lower limbs of a tree.
Tree Felling and Site Clearance
Do you need a site cleared? TTS can work with you from start to finish, do you need planning? A forestry license?
Dismantling
Is your tree over a greenhouse, or over a sensitive area of the garden? TTS can remove the tree using specialist equipment and techniques to minimize the risk of damage to property.
Rustic Furniture
Handmade rusitc furniture made from your tree, or locally sourced timber. All with a chainsaw!
Stump Removal
The tree has gone, but the stump remains. Is this in the middle of a lawn or flower bed? A digger would destroy the area, TTS can grind the stump out with a precise machine, leaving the surrounding area intact.
Log Splitting
TTS can offer a log splitting service, using a mobile petrol log splitter small enough to go around most gardens. With 22 tonnes of pressure, we’ve never had a log yet that cant be split!
Planning Applications
Does your tree have a TPO? Are you in a conservation area? If yes then you will need to talk to the council before ANY work can be done on the tree. TTS will submit an application for you.
Storm Damage
TTS is experienced in removing storm damaged trees. Over the years we have carried out a wide variety of emergency work, including the use of cranes and HIABs to remove trees from buildings.
