Woodchip

At Truro Trees Services we create TWO TYPES of woodchip:

1/ Fresh Woodchip

This is exactly what it sounds like! Freshly chipped branches from mixed wood sources. Great for pathways and chicken runs!

2/ RCW Woodchip

Ramial Chipped Wood (RCW) is made from smaller diameter younger tree branches. Nutritionally these are the richest parts of trees, with young tree branches containing as much as 75% of the minerals, amino acids, proteins, phytohormones and enzymes found in the tree. 

Unlike regular wood chip, it adds to the quality of the soil.

Quantity & Delivery

We deliver our woodchip in half or full truck loads.

Half truck load is approx 2.5 cubic metres - £50.

A full load is approx 5 cubic metres - £90

Woodchip delivery is free within 5 miles of Stithians.

Wood

Often customers keep their wood, but sometimes it’s removed. We then sell it ‘green’ (unseasoned) and in lengths or rings for you to cut, split and season yourself. If you have the time and means to do this - it’s by far the chepeast method.
